Another awesome year is coming to a close and one last chance to get together as a Tribe and celebrate! Bring food n drinks n celebrate with the rest of the Tribe! ALL ARE WELCOME!!!!

Here is some Game Day nutrition advice from CrossFit stud athlete Austin Malleolo for Tribe athletes competing tomorrow at the Hoboken Challenge:
-Eat more dried fruit the day before the event, certainly if there are long/multiple events
-Start to eat less Fibrous foods the day before and the day of the event
-Eat a easily digestive meal in morning of the event, such as apple sauce and protein powder
-Hydrate extremely well the day BEFORE the event as well as during
-Always have a post WOD shake or meal consisting of a protein and carb
-Less fats are needed during the event, but still eat some
-Make sure to be getting enough electrolytes during the event
-Never introduce a new food or product during an event, always in training
-Map out the day of nutrition as well as you can, and be prepared for anything!

Sweet Potato - Post WOD

Apple Sauce and Protein Powder – Pre WOD
Egg Whites and Melon
Pedialyte - Electrolyte replenishment

These are necessary to have in your lunch box on game day, these will allow you to fuel for any situation!
